My name is Tomruz Miah, I am bringing you an urgent appeal to help the people in Sylhet Bangladesh. Currently the people in the region of Sylhet Bangladesh are under water, heavy rainfall and the collapse of the rivers has put that region under water. It’s the worst flooding that I have seen during my lifetime. They were flooded a month ago and today they are flooded again and it’s worse than a month ago. On Friday 17th June 2022, I saw harrowing scenes and I could not contain myself. I had straight away decided to go to the region and help as many people as I possibly can with food and financial assistance. I will be flying out on 2nd July 2022 until 15th July 2022. I would have gone earlier but they have closed the airport for a number of days due to the flooding as the runway is under water. I am reaching out for some help in the form of donations.

To be clear I am not a charity organisation, I am a public person however I cannot see people this destitute without doing something. I want to be by the side of the people, helping them in anyway I can.

Please help, I can guarantee that 100% of your donations will go to the people that need it. I will pay for all the costs involved for example, I will be paying for my travel to the region, I will be paying for all the transport costs in distributing food and any other things that people need.

I will be filming all the distributing as evidence of what I am doing with the donations.

I have arranged a team if volunteers on the ground to help me reach as many people as possible. I will be focusing on the rural areas of Sylhet in particular Sunamgong, Sathok & Tukorbazar.
