Devin's memorial

Thursday, December 15th my big brother, Devin Smith, suffered a stroke, and was taken to St. Davids hospital in Austin, Texas. That night he went into cardiac arrest and was revived but in a coma.
He started improving and regaining consciousness but then last night, December 17th, he went back into cardiac arrest, and when they revived him again, they found that an infection in his heart was causing his valves to stop working, and at that point he was on life support.
Unfortunately today, the decision was madeto let him go to a better place.Devin was the most wonderful, charasmatic person in this entire universe, and could light up a room with one smile, everyone wanted to be around him.



He had the best stories, and was the best story teller, from the experiences he really had, to the ones he just told me to make him seem cool to his little sister.
He was strong, witty, charming, the coolest big brother, a loving father, and a great son.
It breaks our hearts that he had to go, but we all know he's in a better place now and that God recieved the best angel he could have ever recieved today. I'm sure he'll be right there with him cracking jokes, telling his stories about all of his friends and family, looking down on us and making sure that everything will be okay.

Unfortunately, Devin did not have anything planned out for this event. Which is why I am asking for any donation, so that we can make sure my brother has the service that he deserves, and so that his medical bills can be taken care of, so that our mother can mourn in peace without worrying about any of this,
