Team Gambia

Hi my name is Sophie and I am a 16 year old who is raising money towards nursery students in Gambia. I am travelling to Gambia with my sixth form in November 2025 and am aiming to raise at least £400 to aid the children’s education and facilities over there. I am hoping to teach the children and introduce them to new ideas as well as refurbishing and building new equipment for their day to day use. To raise this money i am running the Birmingham Half Marathon on Sunday 4th May as my first ever half marathon and am aiming to complete it in 2 hours and 15 minutes.
