Anyone who knows Barb, knows she’d give her shirt off her back even if it meant she had nothing! Barb was dealt some not fun cards back in January when she got hit with influenza and it landed her in the hospital. She has faught being sick since then with recently a few weeks ago getting hit with Covid and being put back in the hospital. Unfortunately, any sickness mixed with copd just doesn’t go well. Barb should be going home soon, however with all the work she’s missed since January and not being able to work now, it’s going to be very very hard on her. She will be going home on oxygen and won’t be able to work for awile. Barb is the main caretaker for her special needs son, Kyle and also helps her daughter as she has many health problems. Anyone who knows Barb, knows she isn’t one to ask for help, however right now, she needs it. Barb is a full time special education para at Twin River Public Schools and bus driver. Mentally and emotionally, it’s really hurting her being away from all the kids! Bills, food, and now more medical bills. I’m asking that we all pull together and help her! If you can’t donate monetary, please concider maybe dropping a freezer meal off for them and lastly say a prayer for our friend!! She could definitely use them!
