Sarcoma UK
I will be taking on the Boston Marathon (UK) on Sunday 28th April 2024. This will be my first ever marathon and I am ready to embrace the challenge. Having signed up for the event at the start of January, I have been training ever since.
A very close friend of mine is currently battling Sarcoma, so I am running to help raise awareness for this rare form of cancer.
Sarcoma’s make up less than 2% of all cancer diagnoses and there are over 100 sub-types of Sarcoma. Due to their rarity, we currently know very little about Sarcoma’s compared to other cancers.
Sarcoma UK is a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments. It is the only cancer charity in the UK focusing on all types of sarcoma.
