Greetings and Salutations!
My name is J. Beren Gulotta. I am 24 years old and I think I finally want to advance my dreams.
Part of that (a very large part) is going to college. I plan on going to the BAC for Architectural Design, which is a 7 year program to get my masters. The only real issue right now is relocation.
The BAC, as you may or may not know, is in Boston. I live on the other side of the state, about 5 hours away, so I'm attempting to save up the money to move out to Boston, but between bills and my current rent, I'm struggling with coming up with the money.
The purpose of this fund raising is simple. Help me get the first, last, and security that I will need to get out there. The goal is just what I will need for my portion, after what I am going to be saving every month.
The timeframe for this is until late July, 2016. I will update you all as soon as I have a definite date for departure.
This really does mean a lot for me. I have been out of school for about 7 years now, and I'm realizing how dificult life is without a career path. I'll admit that I'm terrified of jumping straight into things (a 7 year commitment in a city I have never lived in) but I honestly think that if I don;t do this now, I may not have this kind of chance again.
