Hello I am Alonzo D. Miles Jr. and I am soliciting your help for two reasons. The publishing of my book Love or Fear, What’s Your Motivation and to help my younger brother in his recuperation process, in his second bout with cancer.
The publishing of my book would fulfill a lifelong dream of mine to finally come true. My journaling begin 10 years ago, and in my search for happiness, it is my belief that God has blessed me with some encouraging words, for not only me, but for the world as well. In my search for happiness and finding myself, I’ve come to the conclusion that everything in life falls under choice.
God's most powerful gift is free will and I believe the main two motivators in this choice is LOVE or FEAR. So if we can learn how to identify our emotions, and manage our feelings, we will learn how to make choices that make us better each and every day. In my learning process, I have been led of God to write this book entitled LOVE OR FEAR, WHAT'S YOUR MOTIVATION?
My book is dedicated to the strongest man I know, my brother, William Miles who is battling cancer for the second time. I believe that William is indeed motivated by love and conquers fear on a daily bases. On Monday June 16, 2015 William had a really bad day. He had a Bone Marrow Transplant and he was receiving his last dose of his stem cells being placed back in his body. He had a bad reaction and couldn’t stop shaking among other things, he got real still with his eyes closed, the Nurse asks him what was he doing, and he replied I’m controlling my Destiny. At that moment he chose not to operate in Fear and the shaking stopped.
In this mist of his sickness he mustarded up enough strength to design one of the covers for my book. William’s design is one of the four finalists chosen for the book cover. Let's see if you can guess which cover William designed and assist with his recovery.
So I leave you with a quote from my book... "In the search for perfection, we forgot we needed each other." Well I know I'm not perfect and I know I need you! Thank you for your time and donation!
