Join My Path to Recovery and Hope

hello friends, family, and others! during an aerial silk accident, i broke my spine and had an emergency spinal fusion and suffered from a fractured right foot. i spent 4 days in ICU and another week in the hospital while i re-learned how to sit and walk again. upon leaving the hospital, i suffered from 2 seizures while recovering at my sister’s, thankfully she was there. i have been working on mobilization again going from wheelchair to walker to finally being able to walk with just my camboot on. i currently have a catheter while my nerves recover.

this experience has really taught me to slow down and appreciate the small things like simply sitting or standing or walking.

i have been out of work for a month now without insurance and really need help with bills and hospital bills and my follow up doctor’s appointments to remove the staples from my back, physical therapy, and urologist. i’ve utilized all of my savings and am not sure what to do right now since i wont be able to get a new job for possibly another month.
