Bean Needs A New Knee !!

Poor Bean. For anyone who doesn't know, my best buddy Bela Wurtzler's dog Bean has torn his CCL. (Like an ACL in humans)
You see Bean is a Whippet. They love to and run fast. He was so happy to see his dad when he came home the other day he over did it. And now he has hurt him self and needs surgery pretty soon so he doesn't end up stressing his other leg.
Bela and Roxanne and adopted Bean at the ripe age of 7. Which is a beautiful thing as many pups that age don't get adopted. He has been their love of course.
As a slightly older dog, there have been some maintenance vet visits as expected. Unfortunately this injury, as they always do, has come up quickly and surgery needs to be done pretty soon as his leg is becoming atrophied from not being able to use it and the Vet is concerned from the over use of the other leg, he may be in danger of injuring that one.
Bela is like a brother to me. And is, of course stressing how they can get this done in a timely fashion. Would you all, please, for me, send a little love out to help Bela and Roxanne and especially Bean. The final consultation was done today he was given a package deal of all costs include physical therapy afterward to keep both legs strong. I tried to ask the Vet if we could set up an account there but they require signatures on file for their credit card holders and there is a big responsibility in holding the funds,so I'm trying this.
I know it's Christmas time, so we understand everyone is strapped but if you could find it in your heart to come up with anything at all. $5.00 even. I'd be very thankful and know with all my heart Bean, Bela and Roxanne will be too.
