Hello this is Arthur’s mum.

You may remember Arthur from TikTok as one of Michael Sheldrake’s VOKRA fosters. And my own account Winston and Arthur’s Sweet Home on TikTok and instagram he shares with his brother.

Little Arthur is only 3 and suddenly fell very ill last Thursday 23rd Oct. I had noticed he was refusing to eat and getting very skinny these last few weeks and took him to vets. While he looked ok I asked for bloodwork as my gut told me something was really wrong. The vet called soon after to say his bilirubin of his liver was very high. I booked outpatient care but on Friday his health took an extreme dive.

i rushed him to the Can West ER and pretty much just in time to save him. He was at deaths door and spent 5 days in intensive care. He thankfully responded to treatment and was able to have an ultrasound and biopsy.

While we don’t still know the cause as all the tests are still in the works, they deemed him well enough to come home for us to care for him. He’s still in rough shape and I’m hoping he gets better with current meds but fear if he doesn’t improve I’ll have to take him back before his Monday appointment.

As you can imagine the vet bills have been astronomical and beyond what we could afford. He’s worth it and I’d pay years of debt to see him healthy and recover to his old playful self again, but I’m now asking for help. So I can continue to care for him and give him the future treatments he needs.

The $9000 is the amount I’ve already paid for his stay at hospital and all the meds and treatments they administered to him while there.

If anyone could please help, even just a little it would make a world of difference for me, Arthur and his brother Winston.
