Ocean Della's mommy is anxiously awaiting her arrival. Ocean is still in her mother's womb. But sadly, what should be a joyous occasion has turned into heartbreak. Ocean has anencephaly, which is the absence of a major portion of the brain, skull, and scalp that occurs during embryonic development. It is a cephalic disorder that results from a neural tube defect that occurs when the rostral (head) end of the neural tube fails to close.
If she makes it through birth, sadly she will live a few short hours in her mother's arms. Dad works hard to support the family. but with time off for the many doctor visits that is a minimum 2 hour drive and no burial insurance they need are facing unexpected financial hardship. Please pray for these parents and the 3 sisters of this angel.
