12 Swims of Christmas for Bru Columbanus

I'm raising money to benefit Bru Columbanus, and any donation will help make an impact. In order to help raise funds I will be braving a swim in the North Atlantic for 12 days of Christmas in the hope that it will aid of a most deserving charity! Bru Columbanus helps to provide vital accommodation to relatives of seriously ill patients in Cork hospitals and the hospice, in particular relatives of sick children.

Almost one year ago my husband and I found ourselves in need of their services when our baby boy Barra arrived prematurely. We stayed in Bru throughout Barra's time in NICU which enabled us to be by his side or in close proximity to him at all times. The facilities have everything you could hope for to help families at such a challenging time and special care and attention was placed to make the space feel like a home from home throughout the Christmas period. It truly is such an invaluable service and one that is so deserving of our support.
