For the first time since as long as I can remember my mother decided to spend her whole savings on giving herself a smile. My whole life my moms money and life have been about making sure that I always had a smile on my face. She spent thousands of dollars on braces and tons of love even when it was hard to make sure I was always smiling and proud of it. 6 months ago my mother decided to get dental implants as her teeth were failing her since she had never had enough to take care of her smile always putting mine first. Six months ago she spent 12,000.00 of her hard earned money and her and my fathers savings to finally get implants and help her smile. What started as such an exciting journey quickly turned to 6 months of extreme pain, embarrassment, and nothing but soup. The dentist responsible for her care has refused to see her and left her with implants that have fallen out and dentures that fall out for no reason. This supposed expensive and permanent solution has been a nightmare that has cost more then money but so many nights crying. Tell me how is it that the most selfless person I know can be a part of this scandal. The only option she has is to go to another Dr to have them fix her implants however, that cost money that she no longer has. I’m asking you to please help me to get my mothers smile back. I’m begging really. I can’t think of a person that deserves it more. If I could give it to her I would do anything.
