Hi everyone! My name is Chelsey and I’ve started this fundraiser to ask for help for my sweet nephew, Hayes, and his parents Brandi and Braxton Waters (my sister and brother-in-law).

Hayes was born a fighter and spent the first two and a half weeks of his life in the NICU. After many different battles with respiratory issues, weight, feedings and jaundice, our little warrior was finally able to come home.

Fast forward two months and Hayes was diagnosed with RSV. After a couple rough days at home and trips to the RSV clinic, Hayes was admitted to McKay for treatment. However, after being admitted to the hospital, Hayes quickly declined and was life-flighted to Primary Children’s Hospital where he has been intubated, given an arterial line and placed on ECMO to keep his heart and lungs working.

At this point, we aren’t sure when Hayes will be able to come home. ♥️

As you can probably imagine, the upcoming costs for recent life saving treatments added to the already occurred costs of his birth and long NICU stay are significant. Any help to alleviate the stress of these costs to their family would be greatly appreciated!
