On October 31, 2025, Steven Moen was having issues with his bladder. Not knowing that this could be life-threatening, he drove himself to the emergency room and was admitted with a diagnosis of sepsis, bladder infection, and an abscess on his prostate. He was hospitalized for a week with elevated blood sugar levels and on multiple IVs while being administered insulin to help control his levels. All the while, with no insurance, as he had just started a new job two weeks earlier. His insurance would not start until December 1st.

He went home with limited mobility but still managed to do computer work for the company while at home. He also had a continuous catheter and attached Foley bag which would not be removed until December 1st. His mobility was limited, but he still worked through it, visiting a few customers.

On January 15th, he was let go from said company due to a “change of direction,” knowing full well it was because of his medical issues. His manager said he would not take him in front of customers with his catheter and Foley bag. He currently has no income coming in and has a standing hospital bill of over $130,000, along with rent, utilities, etc.

Please help if you can, as everything is greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much!
