Help Save My Cat Ozzy

Our cat Ozzy was born on April 21st of 2021, he just had his birthday not too long ago, and we showered him with lots of love and all the fancy feast he could handle. Ever since we first got him, he's been such a loving and playful cat that never fails to bring a sense of fun and liveliness to the household. He can be a handful, but that only adds to the fact that there is never a dull moment with him. But sadly, on 5/16/22 at around 4 AM, he was attacked by either a dog or coyote, according to the doctors in the ER. He was severely hurt, sustaining blood loss, puncture wounds, damaged bones, and a collapsed lung filling with air. Ozzy managed to escape to come to the front door crying for help. We let him in the house and cleaned him as best as possible. He kept wanting to sleep, so we had to constantly wake him up. We found a 24-hour vet in Corona and took him there as fast as possible. As soon as he arrived, he was rushed to an oxygen chamber to keep him breathing correctly. They are currently performing surgery to fill the holes in his lungs and patch up his exterior injuries. The surgery and hospital stay is amounting to more money than our family can currently handle, but we are too determined to keep our baby boy alive.
