Stolen Makeup Kit

On Sunday evening while out celebrating a friend’s birthday, my car was broken into and my makeup kit and professional lighting equipment were stolen. As some may know, I have been a professional makeup artist for nearly a decade. It has taken me years to build my kit and with it build a career I’m very proud of. My livelihood rests in the products, tools, and equipment that was taken from me and unfortunately they are not easy to replace.

While I am grateful that it was not much worse and that I am physically okay, I still have to be accountable to my clients and to the jobs I am expected to perform whether or not this happened. Beyond what my kit was worth, there were valuable and sentimental items in it that I have had since I first started doing makeup in 2009. Those things are gone now and I desperately need assistance in replacing what is missing. Any amount will help. Whether in monetary form or in product. It is humbling to have to ask in this way but I am so grateful for any and all help and encouragement during this rough patch. I appreciate you all.
