For Sophie

Hello, my name is Tanya and have started this go fund me to help with vet bills for Sophie.

Sophie is a 8 year old collie/retriever mix.

I got Sophie when she was 11 weeks old and from that moment she changed my life. My soul dog, through all the good and hard times she’s always been the most consistent thing in my life.Sophie is my whole world and there is nothing I wouldn’t do for her.

Over the last few days I have noticed some changes, she hasn’t eaten in 5 days, has not been drinking much water and been very lethargic, hasn’t wanted to move around much (no chasing balls or squirrels or rabbits, which is not like her) On top of that, I noticed today there is a fairly large lump that has formed on her neck area.

I took her to the vet, and they told me she has a Mast Cell Tumor on her leg( I thought it was a hot spot) and because of that it has caused her limp nodes to swell, she also has mastitis around her lungs.

Based on the size and how she’s been he has said likely only 6 months….this has completed broken me.

He wants to do some tests to see what stage she is in, this is where this go fund me comes in.

Life has been hard financially for us lately,

these tests will cost around $800 and we just don’t have this kind of money right now.

Im Hoping anyone can help us get these tests for our sweet Sophie girl, it would mean so much to us.
