I'm Tahlia, I'm a mum of 4 boys. On Tuesday the 25th of November my 3 yo son (Attila) and I were air lifted to Sydney children's hospital from Canberra. He became sick on the Sunday prior and had a headache. We took him to hospital on the Sunday but we were sent home. On Tuesday Attila woke with an extremely swollen eye and was still feeling awful, so we went to the Canberra hospital. Before I knew it everyone at the hospital was rushing around, putting cannulas in and panicking. Then out of no where we were being sent to Sydney children's hospital. So I knew things were very serious for my boy and I was so scared.

We then spent the next week having surgeries, on his eye, his sinuses and his brain. Attila has also had 2 CT scans, 3 MRIs and a PICC line put in, which caused more problems, he developed a blood clot and a heart murmur. He has just had a second extremely major brain surgery. He is so little and I'm just devastated this has happened to my family and my boy. Luckily, he is so strong, he's doing so well but the road ahead is a long one. I'm just asking for any donations to assist with fuel, expenses for my other 3 children and accommodation (we can't stay at Ronald McDonald house as we don't meet the ratio for children to adults which is 1:2, we have 1:3), and just general expenses for Sydney trips to and from Canberra, while we navigate this huge and unexpected journey. We expect Attila to be receiving care for the next 4-6 weeks at least.

My other 3 boys are 8,6 and 1, it's been so hard on them to, being away from home and being rushed here, there and everywhere so we can all be with Attila as much as possible.

I am grateful to everyone and anyone who can donate or offer support, from the bottom of my heart, please help us help my little boy, he really is the most beautiful soul and like any child, he doesn't deserve this, we just want him to get back to his normal life and his normal happy self.
