Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money for New York Road Runners Inc., and any donation will help make impact.
Unfortunately, I was not chosen amongst the lottery of 105,000 people for entry to run in the NYC marathon. In order to gain entry run in the 2019 NYC Marathon, I need to raise $2,620 for the charity, Team For Kids.
Team For Kids help support nearly 250,000 children nationwide, including 125,000 in New York City’s 5 boroughs. These programs help build students motivation, confidence and most importantly desire to be physically active for life.
As some of you may know I have ran a handful of half-marathons. It’s always been a dream of mine to run a full and I can’t think of a better one to run than the New York City.
If you guys help me reach my goal of $2,620 I will pledge to complete this race fast enough to qualify for the Boston marathon. To qualify for Boston I would have to run this one in under 3:05 min. That is a 7:03 min/mile for 26.2 miles!!
