Expenses and Update for Keli
Donation protected
I wanted to give you an update to Keli's transportation need. Through a private donor, Keli has been gifted reliable transportation! This is such an answer to prayer! Because this need has been met, we are shifting the objective of this fund to help offset her upcoming expenses to MD Anderson. In January, Keli will have to meet her annual deductible of $7,500 before insurance will begin to pay. Once the deductible is met, Keli is still responsible for her 20% co-pay. She will travel to MD in April for a 10 day stay. During this time she will have a series of tests, procedures, and a possible biopsy. Keli will incur her own hotel expenses while in Houston, because she will not be kept overnight at MD.
Keli has battled two different types of cancer and undergone dozens of procedures since 2006. Her medical costs are insurmountable and will be with her the rest of her life, but this struggle hasn't stopped her from maintaining her positive attitude. Even on her worst day, if you ask Keli how she's feeling, she will probably answer "I'm OK. I know God has a plan."
Keli is the chairperson for Turn Sperry Pink, as well as a committee member for Turn Tulsa Pink. She is always helping raise funds for the "Turn Pink" events in the community, and supports fellow cancer patients and their caregivers. Now it's time to help Keli.
Please know that all funds donated will be used for Keli's ongoing treatment. Even if you aren't in a position to donate, please share this page on social media and help spread the word!
With much gratitude and thanks,
Jamie Fleenor
