The Ryan Caspare Fund

Donation protected
The Ryan Caspare Fund was established in memory of our son Ryan who passed away in 1994.  Ryan battled leukemia for almost 2 years, underwent a bone marrow transplant and subsequently developed an infection which he could not fight.  He passed away at the age of 12.
We, his family, were so touched by the outpouring of assistance from friends, neighbors, and strangers, decided to establish a fund in his name in order to give back to other families dealing with the devastation of childhood cancer.
It has been 21 years and we are still contacted by people seeking assistance for families struggling with this battle against childhood cancer.  When possible, we would hand deliver the check to the family, otherwise it is mailed.  There are no stipulations on the money, it can be used for bills if necessary, or to buy the child something they really want.
Over the years we have been actively fund raising by organizing golf tournaments, and town runs.  All of which have been very successful.  We have recently relocated so logistically these events have become difficult.
We are asking for your help in raising funds since the account is running low and as Ryan's mom I dread the day when I have to answer the phone and deny a request for assistance from a family in need.
This has truly been a labor of love for our family and has proven to be a very meaningful way for our family to keep Ryan's spirit alive.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
