Dear Friends,
Please continue to

read as information has been updated. 10/21 The verdict is in on my leg from my car accident. The good news is the 10 inch long and 2 inch deep laceration is finally healing. The bad news is I will be left with permanent nerve damage to my leg, i.e no feeling from my knee down to my ankle which is seriously compromising my mobility. My wrist fractures will require further orthopedic treatment as they are not healing well, surgery is likely. I want to thank all who have donated to date, this is not easy for me to ask for help publically. At this point in date there is still mobility issues with my leg of which is taking much time. However I have faith that with much work it will become easier. The issue I have is no transportation and am in need of a reliable car. Prior to the accident I was taking the elderly to their Doctor Appointments and grocery shopping. To date I have made arrangements with a few of my Doctors to make good faith payments but still have enormous bills coming in. Believe me you this is ever so hard for me to ask for help as it is usually me who is the one to help others and I have yet to learn how to receive. I have many people relying on me therefore my goal is to raise enough money to acquire a reiable vehicle in orde to get back to helping others get around and to continue to make my much needed Doctor Appointments.
As hard as it is for me to ask may I ask that people still continue to donate. I know there are so many people out there in much worse situations and my prayers are always with them. it is however ever so important to me to be able to continue to help others get around to their appointments those who are disabled and need the help.
I am eternally grateful to my Woodstock and beyond community members for the fundraiser at Harmony Music, which was a successful event and gave me the courage to even continue, I find myself still trapped by this most unfortunate event. I realize times are tough for everyone in these our days, so any little contribution would be greatly appreciated.
I most respectfully request that you contribute what you can to assist me to continue with my healing and associated medical expenses.
Peace & Love,
Jacqueline Manganaro - Retired EMT
