Cassiopeia Schooner Project, Buying her Sistership

OK crew, we have managed to get the mother ship underway. Our Cassiopeia Schooner Project is a registered 501(C0(3) non profit so all donations are a tax write off. The very place that we intended to build our fleet has now been decimated by the very climate change we have been talking about for years. We have envisioned creating resiliency for what is inevitable in coastal communities around the world with our project, we are big dreamers! We have envisioned unique methodologies for disaster response. we are now in a position to put something together in the next week to help our friends in Carriacou.

And yes I still dream of building a fleet there, but for now all of my friends in Anguilla are trying to gather as many supplies as Cassiopeia II can carry to get down there. Thank you for your understanding that this requires fuel and provisions and the operation of the vessel along with getting stuff there.

We are definitely a lot less "top heavy" than most of the organizations doing the same. Our stuff will hit the ground. Everyone who is bringing things had been through this. We know they need generators and duct tape and tarps and baby food. Another Captain is going to St Martin tomorrow to source what he can for us to swing by and pick up. There is a level of trust.
