Hi, I’m Max and I was able to get a second chance at life when I was adopted by my humans!

Unfortunatley, before I got adopted I was slowly developing a liver issue, more specifically a Portosystemic Shunt, which means I have a vein that has been allowing blood to bypass around the liver resulting in higher toxicity in my blood. Fast forward to today and I’m developing bladder stones on a regular basis... I’m now at a point where the stone is too big to pass and I’m in need of surgery to give me my third chance at life!
