Support Amy Brewer during her battle with cancer

At the beginning of January, my friend Amy and I were Cross-country skiing together when she told me that she was having some pain in her leg. She felt some swelling too. Amy is a hard working house keeper with five children. Their favorite family activity is skiing on the weekends. With her activity level it seemed like she might have pulled a muscle. As time progressed she decided to have her doctor take a look.

Unfortunately, she has been diagnosed with a rare soft tissue cancer called Myxofibrosarcoma.

The current treatment plan starts with radiation followed by surgery. The oncologist is currently predicting that she will be unable to do any intense activity for 12 to 18 months. She has already been unable to work due to the pain and limited mobility.

She needs her friends, family and community to help support her and her family during this challenging time.
