Hello, Cayley & Hannah here. We are fundraising to get our lovely residents a sensory room. We work at Callands Care Home in Warrington and we are planning a walk up Snowdon in September (when we know a date we will update this). Sensory rooms offer a multitude of benefits for residents with dementia, including reducing stress and anxiety, improving mood and behaviour and enhancing social interactions. These rooms provide a calming and stimulating environment that can help residents reconnect with their senses and the world around them. We would love your help in getting us to achieve this!
