Christopher's Road to Recovery

On Monday 11.25.24, our son, Christopher was involved in an accidental shooting and the bullet went in through his chest and out by his left kidney. He suffered severe internal injuries and is currently in ICU at Metro. He had a major abdominal surgery called an EX-LAP to remove his spleen, most of his pancreas along with repairs to his heart, stomach, diaphragm, liver and kidney. He will have several more surgeries over the next couple weeks and will have a long recovery. During this time, he will be out of work, and so will I, so I can be here with him through his recovery. During this time he will still have bills to pay and has already started to get medical bills totalling $20k just from his 1st day here. We normally do not ask for help but this situation is not our norm. Chris has the biggest heart and cares so much for everyone he is close to. If you can help, we would greatly appreciate. If not, that's ok too. We will keep updating his progress as we have more information and maybe some photos of his bright smiling face once things are less graphic.
