Support Duke's Journey to Recovery

Duke, the sweetest one year old pup. Two months ago, he started limping. At first, his mama thought it was growing pains and did X-rays etc. She went to their vet, did the whole rest thing and noticed his walk wasn’t really getting better. So, today, they finally went to a consult with an orthopedic surgeon that confirmed Duke needs surgery. Duke has a bad case of hip dysplasia on his left hip. The pain has ultimately caused his bones on that side to atrophy, since he isn’t using that leg enough (poor boy). The success rate is 96-98% post surgery with a 3-4 month recovery. The surgeon believes he’s a great candidate for it and they can hopefully prevent it from happening to his right side, since he’s using it more in the meantime.
