Jessica’s Journey

We would like to take you on a journey with us for our dear friend and family to understand why we are here today to help Jessica Schie with her Stage 2 Breast Cancer.

She was a healthy, happy young woman, only 58 years old, had a great job and was really excited about her new home. Jessica has worked very hard her whole life, even holding down 2 jobs at times to provide a warming home for her children. She never complained because of her great strength in old friends for moral support and her charismatic ability to make new friends.

She meet her Fiancé Mark Christy about 2 years ago and their future plans grew from there. Mark will attest during these past few years how much his adoration and her incredible ability to draw friends to her with her kindness and loving attributes.

She has never been one for center of attention as an honest, loyal person who will do anything for her friends, family and her fiancé Mark.

While achieving their lifelong goals, 2024 was a promising year. Jessica’s journey took an unexpected turn in March 2024 as an acquisition of the company she has worked for the past 8 years let her go. She was devastated by this news and set out looking for new employment over the summer.

Then in August 2024 after a routine mammogram she received the most unthinkable news! Stage 2 Breast Cancer. It was a shock to her and her family and friends. Jessica’s awesome journey has now turned into her nightmare.

All the treatments will take her about 1 year to complete pending a positive outcome. Jessica’s daily life is now consumed by treatments, appointments, sickness etc. This makes it extremely difficult for her to find new employment. She has realized her treatments will make her fall behind financially.

Already stricken with grief from unemployment and now medical expenses we know she needed our help.

Those who know and love her so much are pulling together to assist her to have financially stability while she struggles to get back on her feet and overcome this cancer battle.

She humbly agreed to let us help her on this journey to help her survive and be strong and healthy again. The impact she has made to so many of us in undeniable and unwavering. We are with her 100%.
