Hi! I'm Bryan, Dallas' handler! Today i'm asking for support in continuing her service dog training. Dallas is training to be a multipurpose service dog for my several psychiatric disabilities (C-PTSD, OCD, Agoraphobia, D.I.D, Bipolar Disorder), autism, endometriosis and POTs.

Dallas has just started the journey of task training, starting with DPT and item retrieval, as well as working on PA desensitization. Her trainer requires she is trained to perform at least 6 tasks, though she will most likely be trained more due to my complex needs.

I'm asking for support now because for the first 9 months of her training, including the cost of her from her breeder, we took out a loan, but the loan has since run slim and we are trying to avoid having to take out another one, or at the least, not have to take out another huge one. I had to quit my job back in December due to my health and disabilities, now relying on freelance work and my boyfriend who works part-time (he is a student). I was getting sick at work from my Endo, not able to do any sort of lifting because of my POTs, only working 4 hour shifts, 2 times a week because I cannot stand for longer than 30 minutes without intense pain due to my Endo. Even with accommodations, I was unable to work without the mitigation of a Service Dog. Our income right now is very limited, and our savings are being drained to cover the cost of living in Boston, other bills and her training at the same time.

I've applied for disability (SSDI) but was told the DDS review will take at least 8 months, and by then, if I even get approved, I will be back to working because Dallas will be trained to support me and allow me to work again.

Dallas is necessary for many reasons, some being that I can't leave the house on my own due to my agoraphobia, or I feel unsafe doing so because of my POTs, etc.

With her, I will be able to work my dream job as a preschool teacher and regain my sense of independence.

All funds raised will go towards her training, including the cost of monthly private lessons with our trainers.

10 day training packages = $810 (last us about 5 weeks)

1 private lesson = $200
