Our dear friend Amanda is facing one of the toughest battles of her life. She was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and is preparing to undergo a double mastectomy at the end of this month.

For over 20 years, Amanda has poured her heart into teaching elementary school—shaping young minds with patience, warmth, and endless energy. She’s the kind of teacher kids remember for a lifetime: the one who made learning fun, made them feel safe, and believed in them even when they didn’t believe in themselves.

But Amanda’s impact doesn’t stop at the classroom door. She’s the first to volunteer, to show up for a friend in need, or lend a listening ear. She’s been a steady, compassionate presence in so many lives—and now, she needs our support.
