Support Christine’s Healing Journey

Hello all~

I, along with Caryl Richey, have created a GoFundMe account for ❤️Christine Encelewski❤️

to support of one of the best humans I’ve ever met.

She has always given so so much of herself to others and anyone in need. From being in the military, a part of the Alaska pool community, and a friend to many.

Let’s show her how much she and her kindness and compassion means to us, her friends and family, by being there for her in the current stressful and difficult time.

Christine’s recent emergent spinal surgery could require up to 3 months of not being able to work, being unable to perform typical activities of daily living for herself and her son as, she is a single parent having to do it all.

As this was an emergency surgery, she did not have the time or foreknowledge to attempt to prepare for this downtime and loss of wages.

Christine is currently in the process of becoming a certified residential appraiser, but at this time she is only paid when the appraisal has been completed. By not being able to work, along with not having Paid Time Off/Sick Leave, during this recuperation time, she will not have any monetary resources at her disposal. Her boss has done a lot to help, but as we are all aware it would be nice if we could all come together in support of Christine and Tristan.

She is currently looking into what options are available to her through the VA for Home Health Care assistance, but we all know the leg work and how long it takes to get things accomplished through government assistance.

Her sister Nedra who has health issues of her own has taken the time out of her care to help Christine through this process, as she cannot be left alone and cannot take care of herself or her son at this time.
