Wayne's road to recovery

Hi guys, as many of you may know my dad Wayne Deasy has recently relapsed with leukaemia for the 4th time. Myself and my family did some research and found a treatment called Car-T therapy. We had to fight extremely hard for my dad to receive this life saving treatment. We got fantastic news this morning that the treatment has thankfully been approved which we are extremely grateful for. My dad will be receiving it in the next few weeks. He will be travelling to Dublin to receive this treatment and will be there for 3-6 months.

This means that my mom will also have to up and leave her family and travel to Dublin with him as she is his main carer.

I am setting up this fundraiser to cover costs and expenses for my mom's accommodation as she will not be able to get accommodation from the hospital and will have pay to rent somewhere for herself. This money will also be used to cover transport and cost of living while they are away aswell as needing to still pay for rent, shopping, bills etc... back in Cork for our family as-well as any other expenses along the way.

Any donations will be greatly appreciated as this will be a very tough, long road for us.

All remaining donations will be donated to ward 2D, leukaemia ward in Cork University Hospital who have went above and beyond for my dad.
