Hello friends and family,
I have created this account on behalf of my family to request your help with a serious matter that is affecting my sister.
A few weeks ago, my beloved sister was admitted to the hospital with symptoms that prevented her from her basic daily activities. If you don't know Adi, you know that she is a very strong woman, we thought that for something like this to happen there must be something serious going on. A few days later she received the news that she had an obstruction in one of her bile ducts and was scheduled for a biopsy. The biopsy revealed the obstruction to be Cholangiocarcinoma, a cancerous tumor. Along with that she was diagnosed with Jaundice and Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis, in her liver. At this point she is still having other medical exams and meeting with different doctors to re-evaluate her affected organs and is scheduled to start Chemotherapy in the next few days.
Adi is a beautiful woman with a heart of gold that is always the first to help others. She has always been the back bone of our family, the one who we all run to when in need of anything because she is the type that will never turn you away, no matter who you are, will listen to you without judgement and help you resolve things in peace and with love. She has such a beautiful, loving energy about her that anything she comes in contact with thrives. Never been the type to live an unhealthy lifestyle, matter of fact a devout who is selfless, caring, loving...just a magnificent sister, daughter, friend, wife and mother of a soon to be 21 year old young man, Carlos Jr, whom was born with the disability, Cerebral Palsy. Adi's life has primarily revolved around her son since the day he was born, making sure that he has the best quality lifestyle and putting her needs to the side to make sure that her family is well taken care of, I can't ever say enough about what an amazing person my sister is and how blessed I am to have her as a part of my life.
Carlos has been an exceptional father during these hard times, taking on the role of nurse for both Adi and Carlos Jr, as well as taking care of the home. You may not be familiar with Cerebral Palsy but Carlos Jr, literally requires 24 hour care as he has just about every physical limitation you can think of. I want to take a moment to tell you how much we, as a family appreciate the support Carlos is giving my sister and nephew.
As you may know, medical assistance for these type of cases is quite costly and the funds I am requesting are to help my sister cover a portion her medical bills which include doctor visits, medications, tests, surgeries and such as well as some of her personal needs since her income as a caregiver to her son is not enought to cover all she has going on. Any amount you donate will be highly appreciated and will be accepted with a huge amount of gratitude and know that your good deeds will not go unnoticed.
Adi is an amazing human being, with the biggest heart you can imagine who deserves to be with us for a long time, living a healthy, peaceful and happy life. We have faith and hope that we will overcome this and Adi will heal her body and live the life she deserves.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read this and for your support.
Please share with as many people as possible.
