Some people never have to fight cancer in their lifetime. Some find the strength to fight it once. David had to do it twice; non-hodgkins lymphoma in his 20s and again in his 50s with throat cancer.
He fought with not only a smile; but a laugh, a positive attitude, and a heart of gold.
David’s most recent battle wouldn’t allow him to work, or even to speak. Cancer cost him his tongue, his jaw and ultimately, his life.
Despite his illness, David was fighting, healing and getting stronger every day. He was not ready to give up yet.
Early Thursday morning, David went into cardiac arrest due to complications from an infection.
This came as a shock to everyone.
It has left this grieving family scrambling to carry out David’s wishes to be laid to rest in Holbrook’s Union Street Cemetery.
Please donate, if you can. We appreciate anything you can spare. No donation is too small, every penny truly helps.
Sincerely,
The Botting Family
