Love for Lori

This February, our mom Lori was diagnosed
with stage III colorectal cancer. Since that
initial diagnosis, she has completed
the first round of chemo and radiation, two
surgeries to remove polyps and tumor, and has now begun her second round of chemo. She
has been battling cancer all while COVID-19
stormed through the country adding an
increased potential risk to those with lower
immune systems. 

The initial quarantine closures included hair
salons, causing mom to have to stop working
completely. Once salons were allowed to
reopen she was just a few weeks from surgery and was highly encouraged by her oncologist
to avoid working as long as possible in order to protect herself from possible exposure. This
extended time without her working has added extra financial stress on both mom and dad.

Your giving will relieve some of the worry that has built up over the past several months and would be greatly appreciated by both my mom and her family. She is looking forward to
fighting this and being cancer free so that she can return to the job and clients she loves and to be an active presence in her children's and
new granddaughter's life.
