Alex's MOH Internship in Haiti

As most of you probably know, I have spent a week out of the past two summers doing m mission work in Haiti. While in Haiti, we work with an organization called Mission of Hope. As an organization of Jesus Christ, Mission of Hope exists to bring life transformation to every man, woman, and child in Haiti. They desire to serve the nation of Haiti, and see lives change. God has put this desire in my heart as well.
I knew last summer that God had called me to serve in Haiti for a long term mission trip, rather than a short trip. but He had not quite opened the doors. When I went back to Haiti June 6, 2015, I stepped off the plane knowing that Haiti was my home. For some reason, God has called me to Haiti to be an intern and opened all the doors for me to start this fall.
In order to pursue the vision of Mission of Hope, I will be serving as the liaison between MOH and the teams visiting the campus. With this, I will be working daily in the surrounding villages, on site in construction projects, and on campus serving in many different facets. I will be called upon to lead, direct, serve and participate in all aspects of Mobilization. Along with serving as leaders amongst those visiting Mission of Hope, I will be called upon to maintain guest accommodations and perform various housekeeping duties, as well as any “on call” duties needed.
I leave for my 3-month internship on August 29th. I will not be back in the states until December 12th. That means I have a little over two months to raise money to make this happen.
I will never be able to put into words the heart and the love I have for Haiti. Please consider helping me follow what God has called me to do. I want to be a part of winning every man, woman, and child in the nation of Haiti for the kingdom. God bless you all.
