Hi Everyone, my name is Ashley. Manny’s daughter. I knew him as Dad, but everyone who knew him and were his friends called him Manny. Many of you know me, some of you know both of us, and some of you only know him.

I’m truly at a loss for words right now as I write this. I wasn’t expecting to be here…typing this for all of you to read. I am terribly sorry for those of you finding out this way, that I haven’t had a chance to call. I’m in a fog right now.

In November, my dad was hit by a car while crossing the street. He never really recovered from his injuries. His health would improve, only to decline again.

Last night, his body gave in to his injuries and he went to fly with the angels; to be with his parents and his brother Fernando.

He touched so, soooooo many lives through teaching over the years. My dad was a bonafide people person and loved humanity.

I am asking that if you find it in your heart to do so, that you please help me if you can so we can give my dad the proper burial he deserves, but I cannot afford.
