Help Me Get A Breast Reduction

Hey! I'm Mary! I usually am not one to ask for help but I've hit a wall. As another year passes I feel more and more disconnected with the body I'm living in. My chest dwarfs my size and covers half my torso. And let's be honest, enough people have commented on my body unprompted and I'm tired of it.

It's not just mental though, I deal with the physical aspect of carrying this much weight too. I often end up with deep grooves on my ribs because my bras can't really support my chest. Right now I sit at a 32L. That's about five pounds per breast. So roughly ten extra pounds. Now, I've taken steps towards helping to protect my back from future and current strain with strength training, but my chest gets in the way A LOT. The weight impacts my ability to take deep breaths, so any type of cardio is harder.

I have some funds for this tucked away, but with cost of living increasing at a rapid pace, by myself I'll likely never reach my goal. I've had the pleasure of meeting with a fantastic surgeon right in New York and she confirmed that I'm a great candidate for a reduction. We're aiming for a C/D, which likely is removing a total of three pounds each.

Now, all that's left is for me to put in a deposit to lock in my surgery date and to have enough funds to pay the bill off prior to surgery as well.

I've set the goal to be 14k, this covers the surgery in full, plus a little more for things I'll need post operation. The extras are compression bras, some vitamins, and pillows to provide extra support and comfort during recovery. If I raise more than my initial goal that covers hours I'll be losing at work recovering.

So, I'm setting this up as a birthday gift for myself: go big and go small.
