Help Laurie Get Back On Her Feet

On June 29, 2019, our mother, Laurie Baker suffered a life-threatening heart attack. She has undergone surgery that resulted in the placement of two stents. (One of which has repaired an artery that was 100% blocked.)
Currently, she is back home, on the road to recovery. In order to fully recover, she will need to take medications, (for the rest of her life) make lifestyle changes, and rest. Adequate rest will require that she remain out of work for at least 6-8 weeks.
As a household that lives “paycheck to paycheck,” this event has not only impacted Laurie’s (and George’s) life medically, but financially as well. In addition to being without pay for 6-8 weeks, they will also face numerous hospital bills.
Our mother has spent the majority of her life taking care of others and putting their needs in front of her own. It is now time we take care of her.
Any donation you can make, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated and go directly to keeping Laurie afloat in her time of need.
