Lloyd Lyons Family

Thank you for taking the time to read this.  Our great friends, our assistant coach with The Fairmont Firebirds Bowling Club, Lloyd Lyons and his wife Loren received devastating and life altering news about a month ago.  A routine colonoscopy checkup found that Lloyd had a walnut sized tumor in his colon, along with some suspicious spots on the outside of the colon.  Lloyd recently underwent surgery and had the tumor removed however, the doctor has found that the colon cancer has metastasized throughout his belly.  There have been complications with the surgery, and at this time Lloyd has been in the hospital for almost 2 weeks again, with Loren right by his side.  The doctors are working to get this complication healed and Lloyd back on his feet so that he can prepare for chemotherapy and conquer this colon cancer.

Many friends have asked us what they can do to help. This is the best way we could find, so we set up this account for all of the Lyon’s friends and family. There’s strength in numbers!!

Lloyd is busy fighting a serious health battle, at this time. He has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. He needs our help!  He is on Short Term Disability from work, but that is only 66% pay and Loren does not get paid when she doesn’t work and has been rightfully spending as much time by Lloyd’s side as she can.

We have told Lloyd and Loren we are doing this, and of course they both said “absolutely not!” We know we are all proud and don’t want to be a burden on anyone especially at the holiday season....but we say, “that’s what friends are for!”

So, we need your help! Please donate anything you can to help this amazing family. We know economic times are tough, but anything you can do would help this family out tremendously. We all know they would help us…..Please help if you can!
