This fundraiser is to help Karen (Jayakumar) and Bryan Hamilton. Karen is a nurse practitioner at Falmouth Hospital and Bryan works at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole. Some of you may not know that Karen and Bryan's second child was born last month. Her name is Lilly and she is absolutely beautiful!

Lilly was born with multiple complex congenital heart defects and spent her first six weeks at Children's Hospital in Boston on life support in the cardiac intensive care unit. She underwent a complicated open heart and lung surgery three weeks after her birth.

Karen and Bryan have been staying in a nearby hotel in Brookline. Karen's parents have been watching their 2 year old son Jaxson on Cape Cod and in Florida.

This fundraiser is a way for friends and family to help out Karen and Bryan. All money will be given to the family to be used for healthcare expenses, childcare, food, travel, housing, etc. in this incredibly difficult time and prolonged hospital stay.
