Help My Family from Gaza have a Safe & Secure Life

My name is Sireen, I am 45 years old, and I am a mother of four. I have always believed that my family is the greatest blessing I have in life. My husband, who is 50 years old, has worked tirelessly alongside me to provide a decent life for our children. We have two daughters and two sons, all adults now, each with their own dreams and hopes for a better tomorrow.

But on October 7, 2024, everything changed. In a single moment, our entire life was destroyed. Our home in Gaza was our only refuge, the place that kept us together as a family and sheltered all our dreams. We were living our day as usual, planning for the future, when the sound of bombing echoed over our heads. In the blink of an eye, everything we had built turned to rubble.

In that moment, my only thought was to protect my children. The fear I felt as I watched our home crumble before my eyes is beyond words. I felt helpless, holding my children close as I prayed for their safety. Every corner of our home told a story, every piece of furniture held a memory, but in that instant, it all vanished under the wreckage.

Since that day, our life has become a struggle for survival. We now have nothing but the clothes we wore when we fled the destruction. We are living in extremely harsh conditions, without shelter or basic resources. The future is uncertain, and we don’t know where to turn or how to rebuild our lives.

This war didn’t just take our home; it stole from us our sense of safety, stability, and even hope. Every day is a new battle to survive, and every night we sit together, trying to find the courage to face the next day. My eldest daughter once dreamed of becoming a teacher, and my son was working toward studying engineering, but today those dreams feel impossibly far away.

We are in desperate need of your help. We never imagined we would find ourselves asking for support this way, but life has brought us to this point.
