Jax is our almost 4-year-old Chihuahua, and truly the sweetest little puddle of love you could ever meet. With dots for eyebrows and his endlessly friendly personality, Jax doesn’t know a stranger & he literally brings joy to everyone who crosses his path. He truly has the biggest heart for such a little pup.
For the past two years, Jax has been living with a condition called a luxating patella, where his kneecap slips out of place and he has to manually correct this. This results in often limping, lameness, and favoring his right leg instead.
Despite the discomfort, he’s remained the same loving, happy boy we adore. However, after a recent vet visit, we learned that his condition has worsened from a stage 2 to a stage 3. This means surgery is now necessary to relieve his pain and allow him to live a full, active life again.
Because this procedure requires a specialized orthopedic surgeon, the cost is much higher than we ever anticipated…..over $3,000. We want to do everything we can to help Jax get the care he needs, but we can’t do it alone.
If you’re able to donate, no amount is too small. Every bit truly helps bring Jax one step closer to a pain-free life. Sharing this means the world to us as well!!!!
Thank you for taking the time to read our Jaximus Dean’s story and for helping us give our sweet boy the chance to run, play, and love without pain again.
