Hi family and friends!

The past few weeks have been pretty challenging. Three weeks ago, my daughter, Luna, underwent a surgical procedure that unfortunately led to unexpected complications, requiring more medical attention and ongoing follow-up care than originally anticipated.

During all this, I began experiencing severe pain and ended up in the ER two weekends in a row. The second visit revealed appendicitis, and I had to undergo emergency surgery to remove my appendix. Between my daughter’s recovery, multiple appointments, my own hospitalization, and now my surgery, I’ve missed a significant amount of work—at the worst possible time.

Over this summer, my income is our family’s primary financial support, as my partner prepares to return to teaching in the fall. These back-to-back medical emergencies have created an immense strain. The daily expenses don’t pause just because life has.

I’ve never done this before, but I’m humbly asking for help. We’re raising funds to cover:

- **Living expenses** (rent, utilities, groceries) while I’m unable to work at full capacity

- **Medical costs** from surgeries, ER visits, and follow-up care

- **Transportation** to and from appointments
