I am fundraising for my mom Christie Estrada to help her pay for all her medical bills. On December her youngest daughter had to call 911 because she couldn’t breathe. She was brought to beaver dam hospital in an ambulance. But after a week she was med flighted to Marshfield. Marshfield hospital has the only equipment in the state to help my mom. She had contracted this new case of covid pneumonia and has drastically declined and is hanging on to her life. The doctors are trying everything in there power to bring her back. She has been in the hospital for about a month and a half now. She’s gone through many surgery’s and procedures. She’s had many tests done, is connected to a ventilator and echmo machine to help filter her blood since her lungs and heart cannot filter it for her. She had a collapsed lung and lots of fluid in and around them. She’s been sedated this whole time and has basically been in a coma. She now has a tracheotomy which was done to help her breathe better and gets blood drawn and X-rays taken everyday to monitor her health. We are hoping and praying everyday that she starts improving and wakes up. It has been a very difficult time for everyone during all of this. Anybody who is able to help please donate.
