Update: out of surgery, haven’t talked to the doctor yet but as far as we know everything went well. Sore, but recovering. Will update more when we get a report from the surgeon.
"Okay friends here is the update one what’s happening with me. I know a lot of you are getting wind and are concerned.
So turns out my shoulder pain is result of a pretty serious Staph infection and is why I wasn’t able to get any pain relief. Thank God we actually found it after seeing many doctors. So unfortunately and fortunately I have been admitted to hospital with Izzy and my pain is now being managed and I am on IV antibiotic and need to stay on IV antibiotic for quite a while. I have MRI, ECG and US’s coming up that will determine the duration of my IV AB’s. It could be 2-3 weeks but if the bacterial is found in my joints it could be 4 weeks and if found in my heart it could be 6 weeks. So it needs to be IV antibiotics not oral but some of that time can be done at home.
I feel so blessed for the the visits, messages, meals offers to clean, offers to take Moses, offers to help with Izzy and we need all the help we can get right now. My heart is full and I am scared and stressed but I know God is bigger then any of this so my faith is in him.
My shoulder is still very sore and it hurts to text so I’m writing this to update you all. I appreciate your love and text but I may not respond. I will try and give updates on this post when I can but I can not respond to everyone.
With that said if you can help with Moses on Mondays and Fridays or the weekends let’s me know and if there is an angel out there that doesn’t have to be home with there own kids and can come through the night for a few hours to help out that would be amazing. The nurses can’t legally help me with the baby because I’m not in mother babe unit. So for this week while the antibiotics start working I can’t even pick up my son baby or so much for myself so during the day Mack is around but at night he needs to sleep st home so he can be sane to do everything else. As you know he is in FT nursing school so this is a lot for us to process and handle. I will know more after test results and until then. Please PM or text me if you can help with kids. Otherwise there is a meal train someone has put up for us and I can post that below.

So how's about we share the love and raise some money to hire a doula to come in to help with Izzy whenever Mack needs a break and for overnighters?
