Wynn Family Strong

Out of nowhere, Ernest, Aldonia's husband and father of their two teenage children, began having stomach aches and losing weight. After more than 5 months, they finally find out, and it was really heartbreaking news.  Ernest has pancreatic cancer, and it is already at STAGE 4. 

Aldonia has worked at the W!se Institute for 21 years.  She never faltered to fight on behalf of the students, ran down kids on every floor of that 10 story building to notify students of their opportunity and helped volunteers' presentation go off without a hitch every week.   

The family is devastated. Aldonia, as hard as she's always fought for opportunities for students, has been fighting like mad to get Ernest the best care and help him recover on sheer love and will.  She's given him around-the-clock care and asking for everyone's prayers.  Last month, she also had to take a leave from work, as Ernest has.  Their disability claim may take up to 6 months and in the meantime, because of an error with the school system, Aldonia is without insurance for her family.   Although the medical bills pile up and can be sorted out later, Ernest's medicine is in jeopardy, and the family is going through a difficult time financially.
