Support Baby Wylder’s Surgery
Donation protected
Hi everyone! Starting this to support 7-month old Wylder’s mandibular distraction osteogenesis surgery & medical bills. Wylder was born with a rare genetic condition called Pierre Robin Syndrome, that causes obstruction to the airways due to an underdeveloped jaw. Baby Wylder already spent a month in the NICU as he struggled to eat and breathe due to his obstructed airway, where he had to have a feeding tube to gain weight. After 3 months of doctors failing to diagnose his condition early on, he was then re-hospitalized as his malnourishment alarmed enough doctors where he was finally put back onto a feeding tube. He still has a long road to recovery and many surgeries to follow. His mom and dad are having to work overtime to support him and their 2 other kids. It is unknown if Wylder will be home for Christmas, and his family just wants to be able to spend more time with him at the hospital without stressing about bills. Wylder has been at the hospital since December 1st and his brothers are anxious for him to come home and don’t quite understand. It's hard being away from the hospital after they took him off one of his paralytic medications (because his heart rate started dropping) leaving him wide awake and scared not knowing where his mommy and daddy are. We know times are hard, but anything will help! Please feel free to share. Thank you to everyone, even if you just share. ❤️
